  • Career Highlights

    Prior to his NHL career, Cloutier played for the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League, starting in 1992. In 1994, he was drafted 26th overall by the New York Rangers in the first round of the NHL Draft. Before joining the Rangers he played for the Binghamton Rangers in the American Hockey League. Cloutier made his NHL debut with the Rangers during the 1997-98 regular season, playing 12 regular season games. On June 26, 1999, Cloutier was traded from the Rangers to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Eight months later he was traded again, to the Vancouver Canucks on February 7, 2000. Cloutier played just over five seasons in Vancouver, then was traded to the Los Angeles Kings on July 5, 2006.
