    Bylsma graduated from West Michigan Christian High School where he played golf, baseball and ice hockey. As a freshman, he won Class D golf individual championship and played baseball as starting left fielder on 1985 State championship team.   • College

    He was a scholar athlete at Bowling Green State University and played collegiate hockey for four years in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. He was twice selected to the C.C.H.A.   • Pro Career

    He began playing pro in the East Coast Hockey League with the Greensboro (North Carolina) Monarchs. He played nine NHL seasons as a right winger with Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks from 1995-2004.

    He also played with International Hockey League teams Phoenix Roadrunners and Long Beach Ice Dogs, and American Hockey League teams Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, Lowell Lock Monsters, Springfield Falcons, Albany River Rats, Moncton Golden Flames and Rochester Americans.www.DanBylsma.com: Dan Bylsma's Career

  • Coaching Career

    Bylsma started his coaching career in 2004-2005 as an assistant with AHL's Cincinnati Mighty Ducks and made his NHL coaching debut as an assistant with the New York Islanders in the 2005-2006 season. He also spent two seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization as an assistant to Todd Richards in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from 2006-2008.
