Dan Abrams is an American television host, legal commentator and CEO of the expert network Abrams Research. Abrams was a reporter for NBC News and for Court TV. He also hosted MSNBC's The Abrams Report and Verdict with Dan Abrams.
In January 2009, internet gossip sites suggested that Abrams may be romantically linked to actress Renee Zellweger. According to Page Six of the New York Post Abrams and Zellweger were spotted having dinner together at a hotel in Sag Harbor.The New York Post: Zellweer and Abrams (January 21, 2009)
Testicular Cancer
Abrams was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2003 at the age of 37. Abrams visited a physician after discovering he had a swollen testicle. The disease was confirmed by a CAT scan and Abrams was scheduled for surgery. After undergoing two surgeries, Abrams was given a clean bill of health. Abrams made this comment about his recovery from the disease, "Today, I feel really lucky. Friends helped me, and then there was Elisabeth. We started seeing each other months into my recovery, and she was incredibly supportive.
