Damone Brown is a member of the NBA Development League team Reno Bighorns and a former player of several NBA teams, including New Jersey Nets, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors. Career
Brown played college basketball at Syracuse University. He was drafted by the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers in 2001. He played for several NBA teams before playing for the NBA Development League team Sioux Falls Skyforce in 2007. He then joined the D-League team Reno Bighorns. Brown's average in the NBA was 2.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
Arrest
Authorities seized $170,000 from the box where it is believed a drug czar stored his profits. Authorities say they don't know if Brown received any profit from the arrangement. The arrest of Brown was part of a larger investigation and over 30 people have been arrested.
