    In April 2009, Weaver was offered a full scholarship to Albany State University. The university will also offer free summer sessions to Weaver throughout middle and high school. Weaver has said that he will accept the scholarship and has said that it came as a "big relief to my mother and my family."     Weaver, his teacher Brian Zimmerman, a student cameraman and two parents plan to travel to Washington D.C. to film and produce a special broadcast on President-Elect Barack Obama's inauguration.
