  Damon Kyle Wayans was born in New York City, New York State on September 4, 1960. He attended Murry Bergtraum High School. He was raised in a house of four brothers and four sisters. His other famous siblings are Keenan Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Kim Wayans and Marlon Wayans.

• Acting Career

  Wayans acting career started modestly with a memorable performance in the Eddie Murphy star vehicle, Beverly Hills Cop, he would later go on tobe featured in films such a Hollywood Shuffle, Roxanne, Colors and I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. In 1990, he would appear in his breakthrough role as part of the ensemble of the sketch comedy In Living Color. He would follow up that success with roles in films such as Mo' Money, Blankman and Major Payne. In 2001, he would star in the hit sitcom My Wife and Kids.
