Damon Thomas was the first husband of reality television celebrity Kim Kardashian during the period 2000 to 2004. The underdogs wrote the long awaited screenplay to the broadway adaptation of the film "Dreamgirls". This featured performances from various major celebrities including Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé Knowles, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, Anika Noni Rose and Keith Robinson. Thomas was also involved in the 2004 Disney film Shark Tale. Thomas co-wrote the song "Can't Wait", which was performed by Avant.
Thomas worked with Kenneth Babyface Edmonds as a songwriting and producing partner. He also has worked previously with Dru Hill, Tyrese, Beyonce, Pink, Lionel Richie, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, and many others.
He was married to Kardashian from 2000 through 2004. In February of 2010, a former maid sued both Thomas and Kardashian for failure to pay for service rendered.
