Dallas Baptist University is a private Christian university that offers undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees.
History
In 1898, the school was initially a two-year college named Decatur Baptist College in Decatur, Texas. At the invitation of the Dallas Baptist Association, the school moved to Dallas in 1965. Three years later, in 1968, it changed its status from a junior college to a four-year university.DBU: History

Located in southwest Texas, the university encompasses 292 acres of land that overlooks the Mountain Creek Lake and is 13 miles from downtown Dallas.
