Dallas police were called to a shooting on the morning of March 8, 2010 responding to a 911 call for shots fired. The incident occurred in an office building that houses a United Texas Bank branch, and several bank employees barricaded themselves in the bank vault for the duration of the shootout. After the gunman shot and fired on the two financial planners, he then engaged in a shootout with Dallas police. Eventually the gunman shot himself in an attempt to kill himself.
