Reportedly the most recent love of Daisy de la Hoya was that of Corey Haim who died March 10, 2010 of unknown causes although some reports point to drugs. In an interview with Access Hollywood the niece of boxer Oscar de la Hoya said the two were to meet later in the week, and she never expected for it to end like this.

Daisy de la Hoya is a reality show star who first appeared on Rock of Love 2 with Poison front man Brett Michaels. She competed for Bret Michaels' attention as a contestant on Rock of Love 2 in early 2008 on VH1. Although she was a finalist, she lost to contestant Ambre Lake. On April 26, 2009, her reality dating show Daisy of Love premiered on VH1 with Riki Rachtman as the host.

De La Hoya was reportedly rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on May 7, 2009, as a result of a "possible overdose." TMZ reports that when paramedics responded to the 911 call, they found De La Hoya "acting crazy, yelling, screaming and thrashing around." Her appearances for this weekend have been postponed. A professional shot posted on De La Hoya's MySpace depicted her in black lace lingerie sitting on a tile floor holding her middle finger to her lips and wielding a Jack Daniels bottle with the other hand.

In front of her was a scattering of shell casings along with a broken mirror containing several lines of a white powder that was supposed to look like cocaine.
