Daisuke Enomoto

Daisuke Enomoto is a Japanese businessman who was scheduled to become the fourth private citizen space tourist in 2006. He was replaced for the Russian Soyuz space capsule journey a month before his scheduled trip after he was deemed unfit to fly due to kidney stones. Enomoto was replaced by Iranian-American businesswoman Anousheh Ansari.

Enomoto is suing venture space company Space Adventures for $21 million, claiming that he was defrauded by the firm and replaced by Ansari for the September 2006 space flight because of her previous donations to the company. He claims that his health condition was known by the company long before his replacement.
