Similar to YouTube, DailyMotion is video hosting site and is well known for the superior video quality as compared to YouTube and other flash video hosting websites. The domain was registered a month after the YouTube launch, but Dailymotion did not become popular until a while after.
Features
Dailymotion allows users to put tags on their videos so they are able to easily locate them again in the future. They also allow people to search by channels or user created groups or other things people have searched for. Dailymotion allows a person to upload up to a 150MB video and are converted so they fit a 320x240 resolution.
Blocked in China
Dailymotion was blocked by China on August 29, 2007, because of the explicit nature and possibly the political situation in Tunisia.
