Daily Kos is a liberal grassroots political weblog run by Markos Moulitsas. Users write posts (or "diaries") that focus of progressive politics and activism; the posts are then shared with the entire community.
In addition, the site features a participatory political encyclopedia, glossaries and other politically-oriented reference materials.
