Swinney began his career coaching and playing with the
Alabama Crimson Tide, playing in two
Sugar Bowls, one
Fiesta Bowl and one Blockbuster Bowl. He earned a B.S. degree from Alabama in Commerce & Business administration and also a Masters in Business administration.
