Da' Tara wins Belmont Stakes

On June 7, 2008, Da' Tara ridden by Alan Garcia won the Belmont Stakes. Da'Tara's win kept Big Brown from winning the first triple crown in 30 years.

Big Brown Loss

Winner of the 2008 Kentucky Derby and 2008 Preakness Stakes, Big Brown came in ninth place. He was the first Triple Crown hopeful to come in last place at The Belmont Stakes.
