Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon revealed on Good Morning America that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006.
Her gynecologist told her that there were a small cluster of cancerous cells in her right breast. The doctors removed them and put her through brief radiation treatment. Nixon says they found the cancer early enough that her life was not in danger.
Nixon appears in Sex and the City: The Movie, in theaters May 30, 2008, in the United States.
