Famous during the heyday of 1980s pop music for her wild fashion sense, inventive videos and spunky personality, Cyndi Lauper became an early MTV darling with the video for her hit Girls Just Want to Have Fun and went on to score a Billboard No. 1 hit with Time After Time.
