Cusco Hotels

Perhaps one of the most beautiful hotels in Cusco is the Hotel Monasterio. This hotel was originally built as a monastery in 1592 and is just two blocks away from Plaza de Armas, Cusco's central square, where you can visit the museums and the cathedral. Each room here has cable tv, mini bar and beautiful historical furniture. This hotel is the first in the world to offer oxygen piped directly into your room through the ventilation system for $30 per day.

Deep in the heart of the city you will find the Sonesta Posadas del Inca Cusco. This moderately priced hotel is only eight minutes from the airport and offers balconies that overlook the gardens for stunning views. The hotel also has a cozy restaurant that offers traditional Peruvian dishes. Other amenities include a business center, room service, babysitting and laundry service.

If you are looking for a nice budget hotel, try Niños Hotel. This 300 year old building is nick named the "Children's Hotel" because all proceeds from your stay go towards helping disadvantaged Cusqueño children who attend daycare on the premises and cheerfully greet you as you pass through the courtyard.
