Professional National Hockey League goaltender Curtis Sanford most recently played as the backup goalie for Vancouver Canucks net minder Roberto Luongo.

Hockey Career
Sanford had an extensive junior hockey career, playing seven years in the Ontario Hockey League before he was picked up as a free agent by the St. Louis Blues during the 2000 off season. Sanford played in a handful of Blues' games during the 2002-2003 season, then joined the team full time for the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 season. Injuries prevented him from playing more than an average of 33 games during the two seasons.During the 2007 off season, Sanford signed a one year contract for $600,000 with the Vancouver Canucks for the 2007-2008 season, during which he played in 13 games. In 81 career NHL games through the 2007-2008 season, Sanford had posted a 30-28-11 record and has a 2.79 goals against average.
