Curtis Lavelle Vance was arrested and charged with capital murder by Little Rock, Arkansas, police for beating to death KATV Anchor Anne Pressly. Appearing in court on May 12, 2009, Vance told the judge that he didn't trust his lawyers and he wanted a new defense team. Earlier Rape Charge

The Arrest
- Although Vance was in possession of a 9 mm pistol at the time of the arrest, he was arrested without incident on November 26, 2008.
