  • NHL Career

Joseph has played for the St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Phoenix Coyotes and Calgary Flames during a professional career that has spanned almost two decades. With the exception of the Coyotes, Joseph has competed in playoff games for each of his teams, making him the only goalie in NHL history to win playoff games with five different teams.

Joseph saw his heyday during the late 1990s as a member of the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs, where he was a contributing factor in the two teams reaching the post season every year he minded net for them. During the 1998-1999 season, the Maple Leafs finished first in their division and had a legitimate chance at the Stanley Cup for the first time in over 25 years thanks to Joseph's goal tending.

As a free agent, Joseph signed a one-year contract worth $1.5 million with the Calgary Flames to act as backup goalie for Miikka Kiprusoff.
