Cubs Curse

As of 2008, the Chicago Cubs have not won a World Series in over 100 years. Some individuals believe the dry spell is due to the "Curse of the Billy Goat" which was allegedly placed on the team in 1945. According to the urban legend, the curse was placed by a Cubs fan named William Sianis. Sianis had brought his pet billy goat to Wrigley Field to attend the World Series, but he and his goat were thrown out before the end of the game.Reverse the Curse: HistoryDa Curse of the Billy Goat: Timeline
