Crystal Skulls are human skull models that are made from clear or milky quartz crystal rock. No one knows the exact origin of the Crystal Skulls, but it is believed that they come from 19th Century Europe. The mysteriousness of the skulls is often portrayed in movies, and is the basis for the newest Indiana Jones film. In addition, the secretive skulls are sometimes used in adventure video games.

Some claim they are from pre-Colombian times, perhaps from ancient Aztecsor from the Mayan civilizations, and are ancient artifacts, but this has not been scientifically proven.

Many people believe that these skulls display paranormal phenomena. They believe that the skulls can be used as crystal balls and have psychic energy.
