Second Chance is the second mission of Crysis 2. After the cutscenes, the player will finally gain control of his character, now equipped with the nano-suit, and be able to continue Prophet's mission to locate Nathan Gould. For this walkthrough, players will get acquainted with the 2 modes of the nano-suit (armor and stealth) and have their first taste of combat against human enemies.

1. Break the padlock in font of you by pressing V. V is the default key for using your weapon as a melee attack OR using your hands to kill an enemy when in close range.
2. Go down the open pathway. You can't really get lost here as the only open way is the right one.
3. Crouch under the door.
4. Use the laptop by pressing F and continue on up the stairs after listening to the transmission.
5. When you reach the broken bridge, Hold down space bar as you run forward right at the edge of the hole.
6. Use your melee attack once again to open the doors.
7. Hold Space to get up the ledge to your right, when you come into the room with the sealed up windows.
8. Press F to open the door.
9. Press B to use your visor. The visor can be used at any point during the game, as a tool for scouting out the enemy positions, looking for supplies, etc. As the narrator will tell you, you may also use the visor to "tag" enemies by pressing F when you look at them. This allows you to then easily spot them and take them out after you go back to your normal view.'
10. Note: the visor also gives you the "tactical options" advantage, which you can use whenever the "tactical options available" message is given to you by the nanosuit. These tactical options essentially provide you with ways to go through a specific situation, by showing which route you can take and allowing you to highlight them. While tactical options are not neccessary, you can use them if you feel confused or unsure of where and how to get through a specific area.
11. Drop down and grab the supplies you just saw with the visor.
12. Press F to take the ammunition.
13. Take a quick look at your mini-map. You will notice a blue arrow pointing towards a specific direction. This is the quest/mission arrow (standard tool to help players navigate during missions in many games).
14. Follow the arrow, taking out enemies on your way. If you have trouble seeing them, use the Visor to spot and tag them. You can also see the enemies on your mini-map.
15. Note: the right click button for most weapons will allow you to zoom in and take more accurate shots.
16. After you kill the soldiers, pick up their rifle by pressing F when you're next to it. It's a huge upgrade over your pistol.
17. Make your way into the doors marked with the blue mission marker. (Once again using V to open them).
18. Here, you will be introduced to the stealth mode of the nano-suit, along with the stealth meter. After listening to the instructions, press E to activate cloak mode and head into the room.
19. Walk up to the enemy soldier. As you will see from the tip, you can "stealth kill" enemies when you're next to them in cloak mode. Stealth killing is a great way to avoid detection in areas swarming with enemies.
20. Make your way past the room, into the open area with the 2 soldiers.
21. While still in stealth mode, aim at the head of the soldier that is standing still and headshot him. Kill the other soldier.
22. Note: to pick up ammo off dead enemies, simply walk up to them.
23. After the mission update, follow the blue marker/arrow by jumping up the yellow container and then onto the roof.
24. Drop down. Wait a little bit, and activate cloak mode. Enemies will approach.
25. Either take out the enemies, or simply stealth around them. Both options are absolutely viable. This is one of the ways Crysis 2 provides you with numerous solutions to the same mission.
26. Note: When in cloak mode, enemies tend to notice you better the closer you are to them, and the more movements you make. Keep this in mind when you're trying to stealth through an area to either pick off enemies in small group or avoid fights altogether.
27. Head towards the mission arrow. Hold down Shift to sprint. 
28. Note: Sprinting allows you to cover large distances quickly, but drains your suit energy.
29. Make your way through the open doors into the second "ring" of the quarantine zone. If you get lost, just keep watching the blue arrow on your mini-map.
30. Walk up to the pad next to the mission-marked doors and press F to use it. You will be given an alternate route. Follow it.
31. Walk into the yellow tents area and make your way towards the mission objective.
32. Press F to use the doors.
33. After you get the "stealth kill" tip, wait for the 2nd soldier to walk away into the tunnel ahead, and stealth kill the other one.
34. Stealth kill the 2nd soldier.
35. Use the laptop and pick up the ammo.
36. Press F to open the security doors.
37. Welcome to New York City! Head down the street
38. Wait for the mission update, and then follow the blue arrow to find the subway entrance.
39. Jump up the wall in the alley way near the mission objective.
40. Here, you will get a small intro to the second nano-suit mode, Armor. Armor mode does exactly what it says; gives you more armor, allowing you to take more hits from bullets and explosives in combat.
41. Take out the soldiers. Once again, you have more than 1 option. Use stealth to kill them carefully or get past them, use armor to brute force it, etc.
42. Note: watch out for the 2 soldiers under you as well.
43. Exchange your weapon for the one the soldiers on the bottom had, if you want, and continue on to the objective.
44. Use the visor if you want to plan out your moves, as this square is filled with a lot of enemies all over the place. You can decide to completely avoid the soldiers here by going around the right or the left with stealth. There are a lot of options, just choose what you're most comfortable with.
45. Continue on to the objective, stealthing, killing, avoiding, or any combination you like. Don't forget that you can use the environment to hide in between energy recharging, to reload, etc.
46. Note: Don't take the sewers. The electrical wiring is broken so the water will actually electrocute and kill you quite fast.
47. Enter the subway.
48. Press F to lift open the gate.
49. Here, you will be granted the ability to use Nano vision for the first time, by pressing N. Nanovision is basically like night-vision, showing you the heat signatures of any living things nearby. Use it in dark areas, or when it is really difficult to see your opponents.
50. Make you way through the subway, until you get the mission update. Watch out for the alien bugs, and follow the new route, jumping up into the hole in the ceiling.
51. Make your way up the stairs.
