Renowned documentary director Joe Berlinger's 2009 film Crude chronicles the legal battle waged by the indigenous population of Ecuador against Texaco for a multitude of health problems caused by the company's oil drilling in the rain forest in which they live. Despite his subject matter being known as the "Amazon Chernobyl", Berlinger is able to present a balanced, interesting and educational documentary.
