Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy is the follow-up to I'd Tell You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You, by Ally Carter. Both books are part of the The Gallagher Girls series.

Cammie Morgan, is now entering her second semester at The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women. This time she is determined to have a quiet semester just like a normal student, but once again, danger follows, and it's only a matter of time before she's in the throes of danger once again. Everything in her world has always revolved around a "need-to-know basis", and she is not someone to shy away from a challenge. Caught up in a top-secret breach and has the tough job to clear her name as well as that of her beloved school.

Although The Gallagher Girls series is all about spies, there is humor in the misadventures Cammie encounters and contains very little violence. This is a good read for all middle school and up students and adults who like light spy novels. There is news of a sequel (Book 3) in the near future, but as yet all is still Top Secret!
