Cristiane Justino Venancio Santos is a Brazilian mixed martial artist born July 9, 1985. She became the first Strikeforce Women's Featherweight Champion on August 15, 2009 by defeating Gina Carano via TKO. She currently resides in San Diego where she trains at The Arena,a premier mixed martial arts gym, with her husband Evangelista Santos, who is also a professional mixed martial artist. Santos made her United States MMA debut on July 26, 2008 against Shayna Baszler at EliteXC: Unfinished Business, in which she was victorious by technical knockout.

Santos was scheduled to face submission specialist Marloes Coenen at XMMA 7 on February 27, 2009, but was not able to compete as she signed a new contract with the Strikeforce company. In 2009, Santos earned a BJJ Purple Belt under her jiu-jitsu instructor Cristiano Marcello. On April 11, 2009, Santos defeated Hitomi Akano in her debut for Strikeforce but unfortunatley did not get awarded for the win because the came into the fight overweight. Santos won the Strikeforce Womens Featherweight Championship in a technical knockout victory over Gina Carano. "Cyborg" then defended her title in a long awaited match against Dutch star Marloes Coenen at a Strikeforce event on January 30, 2010. Santos won the fight via TKO strikes at 3:40 of round 3.
