  • Cris Collinsworth is a former American football player and currently a sportscaster. After a successful career playing wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, Collinsworth has won five Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio Analyst work covering the National Football League.

  • Career as a player

    Collinsworth was a member of both Bengals teams that to date have appeared in Super Bowls, coming up on the losing end both times to San Francisco in Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XXIII. He was selected to play in the Pro Bowl three times in his career, and was considered one of the better deep threats in the league.
  • Career as a broadcaster

    His work on television as a studio analyst has made him a household name. He is currently in his second tour of duty with NBC Sports, having worked with them from 1990 through 1997, and rejoining them in 2006 as lead studio analyst for Sunday Night Football. He also worked for FOX Sports first as a studio host and later as a game analyst. He was also a member of the HBO Sports series Inside The NFL from 1990 until its cancellation in 2007. In addition to his current NBC studio duties, he also serves as lead game analyst for the NFL Network's regular season slate of NFL games.
