The Crimson Dynamo is a name given to several villains in the universe of Marvel Comics. Typically, Dynamos are a Soviet incarnation of Iron Man, donning powerful armored suits and fighting for the preservation of the Communist way of life.

There have been 12 incarnations of the Crimson Dynamo, though several of these individuals have worn the suits for very brief periods of time.ComicVine: Crimson Dynamo profile The first Crimson Dynamo was a Russian inventor named Anton Vanko, who switched alliances and eventually worked for Tony Stark. The title was then taken over by an assassin named Boris Turgenev, until he was killed by the reformed Vanko. Other Dynamos followed, most notably spy Alex Nevsky and fugitive Yuri Petrovich.
