After the NFL Draft, Butler participated in the four pre-season games with the Steelers in 2010.  He totaled 11 tackles in the exhibition contests plus also notched his first professional interception.  During the August 21, 2010, game against the Denver Broncos, Butler intercepted a pass and returned it 40 yards.http://www.nfl.com/players/gamelogs?id=BUT133826
