  • Creativity is the act of bringing about something new — whether it is an idea, a work of art, a solution to a problem, or a useful tool. Creativity also refers to the inner process of generating ideas and novel ways of looking at the world. Although creativity has been a somewhat elusive subject for scientific research, it has generally been found to be associated with playfulness, openness, and a willingness to temporarily let go of critical, analytical thinking.
