• Sound Blaster

  When Creative started adapting PCs for the Chinese language, they developed an audio enhancer to reproduce the complex phonetics of the language. Creative eventually developed the Sound Blaster, the first sound card to combine on-board music synthesizer, digital audio, MIDI interface and a joystick port. The Sound Blaster served as the standard sound card for years.
