Creation is the film about Charles Darwin directed by Jon Amiel. This was the opening film for 2009 Toronto International Film Festival

The film narrates the life of Darwin as a family man and how his work about "Origin of Species was done. Paul Bettany acts as Darwin and his real wife Jennifer Connelly takes the role of Darwin's wife Emma Darwin

Darwin's fist daughter Annie was dead at the age of ten.Darwin became more interested in science than in religion after Annie's death.The movie shows his struggles between his religious wife and the development of the theory of evolution.
