An ad selling a seven-day-old baby girl was put on Craigslist by her father.
The offer to sell the "healthy and very cute" baby for $10,000 was seen by 62-year-old Marilyn Bateman who called police.
In August 2009, Jenni Brennan of Massachusetts found her child's photo on a London Craigslist ad for a phony adoption.

The advertisement read: "Must have!!!!!! A new baby girl, seven days old, healthy and very cute. Can't afford and unexpected. Looking for a good home. Please call ASAP."Marilyn Bateman
Marilyn Bateman is a 62-year-old mother of four children and grandmother to five. She was browsing Craigslist looking for furniture for one of her adult children who had recently moved out when she ran across the ad selling the baby and called police.
