Craig Hansen

Craig Hansen is a professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was the 26th overall pick by the Boston Red Sox in the 2005 MLB Draft.

Hansen attended St. John's University for three seasons. He was named the 2005 Big East Pitcher of the Year and was honored as a First-Team All-Big East selection. He made an appearance at the 2006 Diamond Dinner in Spring Training to benefit the Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida and also participated in the Winter Caravan in January of 2006 and the 2006 Holiday Goodwill Tour.MLB.com: Craig Hansen Profile

Craig Hansen played for the Red Sox in the 2005-2006 season. He didn't play with the Boston Red Sox in 2007 due to suffering from severe sleep apnea and instead spent his entire season with the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox.
