Craig Ferguson is an American Comedian, Actor, Writer and Talk Show Host formerly from Scotland. He is the current host of CBS's The Late Late Show. Upcoming acting projects include the voice of Owl in Winnie the Pooh for 2011, the voice of in Gobber in an IMAX film called How to Train Your Dragon, and a film called The Hero of Color City both for 2010. On December 15, 2009 (revised date) Craig Ferguson aired his 1,000th episode of the show. To commemorate the event, there was a second ever Craig Ferguson Tweet-a-Thon held throughout that historic day. A good time was had by all. Here is a synopsis of the event as it happened:

Hundreds of fans tweeted for 24 hours on a variety of topics including Craig quotes, videos, photos on Twitter to honor Craig Ferguson and his achievement. It is less than an hour before his 1000th anniversary show airs. So far #craigferguson trended for only a minute they are saying online. This is no reflection on the popularity of Craig Ferguson, which is solid. A new Twitter system for retweeting posts just to followers and not the entire site caught Craig Ferguson fans by surprise. Also, other historic events took place at that exact time. There was a large collection of national and international issues to compete with, such as the death of well known American evangelist and founder of Oral Roberts University, Oral Roberts at 91 and the broadcast of his funeral was at the same time as Craig's show. One show marked a great beginning and another show marked the ending of a great life.
