Cracker Jack is a sweet snack of caramel coated popcorn with peanuts. Developed in the United States, each package of Cracker Jack comes with a small prize inside, such as a sticker, game or papers with jokes printed on them.

Besides being a popular snack food, Cracker Jack has a permanent place in pop culture by being mentioned in the baseball anthem Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Homemade Cracker Jack can be made by making caramel corn and then mixing it with peanuts. They were distributed by Fritz Rueckheim at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. Cracker Jack have also been referenced in other forms of pop culture such as in the Meatloaf song Two Out of Three Ain't Bad, movies such as Bright Eyes with Shirley Temple and Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn, and in the famous John Steinbeck novel The Grapes of Wrath. -
