Central Processing Unit
The CPU, or central processing unit, or more simply "processor" is a chip that executes software instructions. It is the workhorse of the computer system and is found in desktop & laptop computers, cell phones, calculators, automobiles, and many other modern-day items. CPU speeds are expressed in Hertz and chips may contain one or multiple cores. -
