Cowboy Troy's nickname came from a friend in college who wanted to distinguish him from his other friends named Troy. Cowboy Troy always wore a cowboy hat which set him apart from the others, hence the name, Cowboy Troy. He and his wife Laura have triplet boys that were born in 2007.
