  • The Cowboy Junkies are an alternative country band from Toronto, Canada. The band is comprised of a group of siblings, Michael Timmins on guitar and Peter Timmins on drums with Margo Timmins as the lead singer. The are joined by a fourth member, Alan Anton, who plays bass guitar. In 1988 the Cowboy Junkies recorded an album live one just one microphone in a Toronto church. The album, The Trinity Session, included their cover of The Velvet Underground's song "Sweet Jane" . The song was later featured in the 1994 movie Natural Born Killers.
