Courteney Cox Arquette is an American actress and former model. She is married to comedic actor David Arquette.
Film Career
In 1984, she appeared in the music video for Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark". In the video she danced with Springsteen for 26 seconds. Her first television work included the series Misfits of Science in which she appeared in 16 episodes. Her breakthrough role came in 1994 when she landed the role of Monica Geller on the sitcom Friends. She was originally asked to audition for the part of Rachel Green. The series was a major success and lasted for 10 seasons. Cox Arquette starred in the sitcom from beginning to end. Another notable role that she played is the part of Gale Weathers in the Scream trilogy.
