Using Track Effects

When playing tracks in your GarageBand music project, you can customize the effects within each track. Go to the Edit tab in the sidebar to turn them on or off.

Select a Track

Select a track and start playing it. 

Change the Track Effects

Click on the Edit tab on the right sidebar. 

Select or deselect the optional effects, such as the Compressor button. You can test the track after adding or subtracting effects to produce a better sound.
