Joey Biagas is an audio engineer with a degree in Audio Recording from California State University Dominguez Hills. He picked up his first guitar at age 16 and has been working on musical projects ever since. He wrote, produced and recorded two solo EPs under his band name Setting Sunrise. Editing MIDI

After you've recorded your MIDI audio region, you can edit the notes in the track editor window. Use the editor to delete, extend or move the notes you recorded. 

Select the MIDI audio track you want to edit by opening up the track editor window with the Edit Track button. 

You will see each recorded note in the track editor window. 

Delete MIDI Notes

To delete a note from your MIDI audio region, click on it and press the Delete key. 







Extend MIDI Notes

You can make a MIDI note longer by hovering over the end of the note until the cursor becomes abracket. Click and drag the bracket to the right to get a longer sustained note.





Move MIDI Notes

To move a MIDI note to a different part of the audio region, click and drag it to the location you want. This allows you to move it to a different key or fix the timing if it's wrong.
