Our Expert: Joey Biagas

Joey Biagas is an audio engineer with a degree in Audio Recording from California State University Dominguez Hills. He picked up his first guitar at age 16 and has been working on musical projects ever since. He wrote, produced and recorded two solo EPs under his band name Setting Sunrise. Customizing Tracks

Once you've added a new track to your timeline, you can customize some of its features before you begin recording audio. You can change the track's music icon and instrument type in order to make it distinct from the other tracks. 




Open the Information Window

First, open up the information window by double clicking on the track or clicking on the "i" button.







Change the Track's Icon

Click the music icon button to open up the track icon options. You can choose any of the icons to represent the selected track. 






Change the Track's Instrument

If you want to change the instrument of the track, open the information window and click on a different instrument.
