The loop tool is different from the drag tool, which only brings back parts of a clip that were previously there. The loop tool creates multiple loops of what you already edited and plays them in a row.
Once you have a track that has been edited, you can loop it through your project as many times as you need. Joey has isolated the "good take" of his track by splitting off the ends. Now he wants to repeat just that cycle several times to create a verse.
Hover Over Clip
When your clip is in the audio region timeline, hover over its top right corner. You should see a small, circular arrow appear. This is the loop tool.
Click and Drag the Loop
Click and drag the loop icon to the right. It will automatically replicate your edited audio region.
