Success Stories
The Courage Campaign has helped raise awareness about several initiatives, campaigns and petitions. On their official site the campaign has cited several success stories. One of their victories included the delay and stoppage to cut 200,000 state workers in California. The group helped to deliver a petition of 28, 016 signature against the cuts proposed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. With the support of State controller John Chiang, the organization helped to bring about a compromise. The plans for the initiative were eventually scrapped due to lack of funding.
