The Country Life game is a simulation game featured and played directly on Facebook which allows you to grow and harvest crops. Unlike most of the other farming games on Facebook,in the Country Life game you are able to combine products that grow on your farm to create new products. An example of this would be, feeding the cow clover produces milk. Milking the cow gives you milk. Then you can decide if you want to sell all the milk now, or hold onto some until you reach a higher level and are able to make cheese.
This is the first game created by this Country Life design team. When the beta was released in October 2009, the Country Life design team showed that they were going to be very interactive with their players and have made changes when issues are mentioned on their fan pages. An example of this is when the fans said the equipment was too large for the farm, the design team downsized all of the machinery to make the equipment take less of the space on their farming land.
In Country Life, you do not have to worry about planting crops and then them dying if you don't get back to the game in time to harvest them. The crops in Country Life will not die no matter how long you are away from the game. This is an improvement over other farming games like Farmville and Farmtown.
Country Life Gameplay
The controls on Country Life are very simple to use. When you start off you will have a few planted crops in place and you will simply click the spot you wish to harvest and it harvests. There is no farmer running around slowing down the process.
- There are many interactive items that will work together to make the experience more fulfilling for you.
- You can grow and sell the starter crop of clover, or you can feed it to the cow who will make the milk. Selling the milk while your clover grows is one way to make good money starting off.
- At level 4 you can start working with the bees. So save your money for the beehive and make your own honey. The fruit you will harvest from your fruit trees you can make Jam once you buy the jam making machine at level 20.
- Save some of the milk as you get closer to level 13 because once you become a level 13 you can purchase the cheese making machine to make the cheese.
- With gifts from friends you are able to have cattle and other animals before you get to the level where these items are made available.. This will help you build up your farm and increase the functions on it.
Country Life Bees
This is a video of the bees working to pollinate the clover on Country Life. The bees will then make honey in the hives which you can use in the game or sell. The video has put the bees activity to the Bumble bee song to make it even more fun to watch.
