  • Hockey Career

    After playing college hockey with the Alberta Golden Bears from 1989 to 1993 and winning the 1992 Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championship, Clouston took his first coaching position in 1994. He served as an assistant coach for the Powell River Paper Kings of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League for one year, before leaving to become the head coach general manager for the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.Official Site of the Binghamton Senators: Cory Clouston

    Clouston was selected as the Alberta Junior Hockey League coach of the year in 1996 and continued with the Storm until 1999, when he was hired as an assistant coach for the Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League. He was promoted to head coach of the Ice in 2002 and went on to lead the team to a .637 winning percentage with 209 wins and 146 losses over five seasons.
