    In March of 2009, Buckhalter was named in court as a client of Pennsylvania drug dealer Styles N. Beckles. State trooper Scott John Miscannon testified that he listened to Buckhalter during a wiretapped phone conversation with Beckles.     Prior to playing in the NFL, Buckhalter played college football with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the NCAA.   • NFL Career

    After college, Buckhalter was selected 121st overall in the 2001 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in 15 regular season games.     Buckhalter missed the entire 2002 season after tearing his ACL, but returned to the Eagles in 2003 to record 126 carries for 542 yards and eight touchdowns, the most touchdowns in a single season in his career. He did not play in 2004 or 2005 sitting both seasons on the injured reserve list.
