NHL Career
Perry was drafted 28th overall in the 2003 NHL draft by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. After a short stay with the Ducks' American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates, he joined the Ducks for his NHL debut in 2005. Perry played 82 regular season and 21 playoff games during the 2006-07 season and helped the team win the 2007 Stanley Cup Championship.
Perry was cut by a skate during a March 6, 2008, game and missed the rest of the 2007-08 regular season. He returned to the Ducks for game four of the Western Conference Quarterfinals against the Dallas Stars.
